Tim Burgess of The Charlatans – autobiography “Telling Stories” launch, 25 April 2012

The Charlatans are a great band, and Tim is a legend.  This evening was held to launch his autobiography “Telling Stories”, with the night kicking off with Tim reading excerpts from the book.  He then had everyone laughing along with him at some funny stories and anecdotes, but also bared his soul over the tragedy he has encountered.   Tim then took a some questions from the audience before singing to some classic The Charlatans tracks starting with a lovely rendition of The Only One I Know.   Happily I had arranged to have five minutes with him before the night started  for a quick portrait shoot, and found him to be an absolutely top bloke.
